Most of what makes a Florida pumpkin patch good or bad is decided by the operating hours, and Mandarin UMC has the best set in Jacksonville. Open every day, closing at 8:30pm — that is roughly two hours later than the typical church patch and it changes what the visit is. You are not building a Saturday around it or racing a thunderstorm at 3pm. You are stopping on the way home from something else, in the dark, in tolerable air.
The trade-off is that there is very little here besides pumpkins. No inflatables, no maze, no hayride. If your children need a reason to be somewhere beyond picking out a gourd, this will be a short visit with complaints attached.

After 6pm. Almost no Florida patch stays open to 8:30pm, and this one does it seven nights a week. That solves the two problems every October Jacksonville visit has — heat and afternoon storms — in one move. Saturday is the only day that opens early, at 9am; every other day starts at 11:30am.
Twenty to forty minutes. This is a pumpkin lot with photo backdrops, not an activity farm, and the visit lasts exactly as long as choosing a pumpkin takes.
Weekend afternoons and the run-up to Halloween will be the pinch points, as at every free patch. The long weeknight hours are the release valve: a Tuesday at 7pm should be close to empty.
Not published. This is a church campus on a major road, so a regular lot is the likely arrangement rather than a farm field, but we have not confirmed it and busy evenings at church patches often push cars onto grass.
