Jones Orchard is a family-run operation that frames itself as a market experience first and a fall-activity destination second. The key fact: it is open only from October 3 through November 1, Fridays through Sundays. If your fall outing is scheduled for September or a weekday, this is not available.

Within that October-only window, the farm’s value proposition is specific. It’s not a sprawling maze festival or a pony-ride destination. It’s a working orchard that opens its market and runs a corn maze during peak fall. You’re paying $10 per person (5 and up) for maze access plus the ability to shop the market—produce, jams, baked goods—that the farm grows or sources.

The maze itself is the main activity—probably 45 minutes to an hour for most families depending on maze design and how deliberately lost you want to get. That’s real but not enormous. The market is the second draw: jams, fresh produce, and baked goods sold farm-direct at prices better than retail markup. That mix works well for families who enjoy shopping with a small puzzle activity built in.

Cost math: $10 per person (5+), free for 4 and under. A family of four (two adults, two kids 5+) pays $40 for maze entry. There are no stated admission add-ons, so shopping at the farm stand is separate. The farm market offers produce, jams, and baked goods at farm-direct prices; budget for those separately when you visit. That’s reasonable for fall activity plus actual groceries.

Timing nuance: Memphis in October is milder than September but still not cool. Late October (after October 20) brings the most comfortable weather for spending time outdoors. Early October opening weekends (October 3–4) will have smaller crowds than later October, but the produce may be fresher in late October once harvest volume peaks.

Market experience: Four Jones Orchard locations operate in the Millington area; this entry covers the Singleton Parkway location. The research notes mention year-round operation of the market side, but the corn maze is seasonal (October only). If you’re in the area outside October, the farm market may still be open for produce and goods, but no maze experience.

The bottom line: this is for families who want a specific combo—a small puzzle activity plus farm shopping—rather than a multiactivity entertainment destination. If that’s your plan, it’s solid. If you’re traveling to Millington specifically for a major pumpkin-patch experience, this is probably not it.
