If you drive out to Canoe Creek Road on a random October afternoon expecting a pumpkin patch, you will find a farm going about its business.
That format explains both the appeal and the risk. The appeal is that $10 a head with under-3s free is a fair price for live music, craft vendors, a kids’ play area, bounce houses, face painting, food trucks and an apple pie contest. Two adults and two small children is $30 or $40 for an afternoon, which undercuts the Central Florida farm festivals by a wide margin and comes with none of the four-hour commitment those require to be worth the money.

Two to three hours. Live music, craft vendors, a kids' play area, bounce houses, face painting and food trucks fill an afternoon comfortably. It will not fill a day, and it is not designed to.
