Central Florida pumpkin patches

14 patches across 6 counties, 2 free to enter. The season opens September 6 at Tanner Pioneer Ranch — Pumpkins & Ponies.

What to expect in Central Florida

14 of the 80 Florida patches we track are in Central Florida, spread across Flagler County, Lake County, Orange County, Osceola County, Seminole County, Volusia County. 10 of them run a corn or crop maze, and 8 have farm animals your kids can get close to. 6 have their 2026 dates confirmed on the farm's own site.

Admission runs from $10 a head at Mick Farms Hometown Harvest up to $19.95 at Amber Brooke Farms — a real spread, and one worth checking against how long you actually plan to stay. A paid festival only pays for itself if you use it for half a day.

2 patches here are free to walk into, which makes them the low-risk option with unpredictable toddlers — you are not out $80 if the visit lasts twenty minutes.

One thing worth setting expectations on: Florida's climate does not support a commercial fall pumpkin crop, so the pumpkins at essentially every patch in the state were trucked in and arranged rather than grown in that field. What Florida farms genuinely sell is the festival around them. Plan around the heat too — September and early October afternoons are hot and prone to thunderstorms, and most farm parking is an unpaved field that turns to mud after rain.
