Twenty-plus attractions on a weekends-only schedule, where the ticket you choose matters more than the day you pick - General Admission includes exactly one Mega Slide ride and one Jumping Pillow session, and those are the two things children want to do repeatedly.
Two admission tiers for ages 3 and up: General Admission includes one Mega Slide ride and one Jumping Pillow session, while Enhanced Admission includes unlimited Mega Slide rides and Jumping Pillow time. Children under 2 are free. The dollar figures are not printed on the farm's own pages - tickets are sold through an external TicketSpice checkout.
Twenty-something attractions is a lot of farm. The published list runs to a 5-acre corn maze, a Mega Slide, a Jumping Pillow, tube slides, pedal karts, a cow train, rat rollers, Hippity Hops, an Apple Bin-azium, straw bale mountain, human foosball, a giant checker game, rubber duck races, tether ball, little log houses, a corn shed, a playground and an observational beehive, plus apple picking and a pumpkin patch. On a Saturday with nine hours available, that is a real day out rather than a two-hour stop.
Before you think about which weekend, think about which ticket. There are two tiers for everyone aged 3 and up. General Admission includes one Mega Slide ride and one Jumping Pillow session. Enhanced Admission makes both unlimited.
Sit with that for a second. Of twenty-plus attractions, the two that are capped are a giant slide and a jumping pillow - which are, reliably, the two things a seven-year-old will want to do until forcibly removed. A family that buys General because it sounds like the normal ticket is likely to spend the middle of the afternoon negotiating, or paying to upgrade on site.
The honest answer depends on your children. For a household that wanders, picks apples, does the maze and treats the slide as one event among many, General is genuinely enough. For a household with a child who finds one piece of equipment and stays there, Enhanced is the ticket that makes the day work. Decide before you are standing in a queue with a child who has just used their one turn.
We could not read the actual prices. They are not printed on the farm’s own pages and live only on the external TicketSpice checkout, so the practical step is to open the booking flow at home, look at both tiers, and buy on purpose rather than at the gate.
Saturday runs 9:00am to 6:00pm. Sunday runs 12:00pm to 5:00pm. That is nine hours against five, for what is presumably the same admission, and it means Sunday is a compressed version of the visit with every other Sunday visitor arriving in the same narrow window. If you have a choice, Saturday morning is straightforwardly the better purchase, and the 9am opening is early enough to have the place to yourselves for a while.
The two Monday holidays, Labor Day and Columbus Day, run on the short Sunday schedule of 12:00pm to 5:00pm. October 31 closes at 5:00pm rather than 6:00pm, which catches out families planning a full Halloween-day visit before evening plans.
The season starts on Labor Day weekend, but the pumpkin patch does not. It opens mid-September. If a child has been promised they are picking a pumpkin, an early-September trip will disappoint them regardless of how good the rest of the farm is. Apple picking and the corn maze carry the early weeks.
At the other end, the first weekend of November is a genuinely different visit from late September - shorter light, colder fields, and a Pennsylvania orchard that has been rained on repeatedly by then. Boots rather than trainers.
This was Paulus Orchards. It is now Mt Airy Orchards, the old web address redirects, and old signage and directory entries still circulate under the previous name. Separately, there is a Paulus Farm Market in Mechanicsburg run by the same family, which is a different site with different hours and a different pricing model. Two families a year end up at the wrong one. The address here is 522 East Mount Airy Road, Dillsburg.
Saturdays 9:00am to 6:00pm and Sundays 12:00pm to 5:00pm, from Labor Day weekend through the first weekend of November, plus Labor Day and Columbus Day at 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Saturday is nine hours and Sunday is five, so Saturday morning is by far the longest and quietest window. October 31 closes early at 5:00pm. The farm does not print exact 2026 calendar dates, only the Labor Day and first-weekend-of-November markers.
Four to five hours if you have bought Enhanced Admission and intend to use it. Two to three if you are on General Admission, which caps the two headline attractions at one go each. Sunday's five-hour day is tight for the full list.
Weekends only across roughly ten weekends, with a five-hour Sunday. That is a concentrated schedule for a farm with twenty-plus attractions, and it means queues form at the two capped attractions - the Mega Slide and the Jumping Pillow - precisely because everyone is entitled to one turn on each. Saturday morning at 9am is the single best crowd decision available here.
Not published. Assume field or gravel parking on a York County orchard, and soft ground after autumn rain. October is reliably the wet month in this part of Pennsylvania.
Not published. The attraction list is dominated by climbing, jumping and sliding equipment on farm ground, which is inherently uneven. The farm store and the observational beehive are the gentler parts of the property. Ring 717-432-2544 before travelling if you need specifics.
You need to know the ticket price before deciding. The dollar figures are not printed on the farm's own pages and sit on an external checkout. Skip a Labor Day weekend visit if pumpkins are the point, because the pumpkin patch does not open with the season - it comes online mid-September. And skip Sunday if you want the full day; it is four hours shorter than Saturday.
Dillsburg sits between the York and Harrisburg areas, and the farm store's longer hours mean the orchard side of the visit works on days the attractions are shut. Because the attraction list is long, this is better as a full outing than as one stop among several.
The farm does not print prices on its own pages. Tickets are sold through an external TicketSpice checkout, where the figures appear. What is published is the structure: two tiers for ages 3 and up, with General Admission including one Mega Slide ride and one Jumping Pillow session and Enhanced Admission making both unlimited. Children under 2 are free.
Enhanced gives unlimited Mega Slide rides and unlimited Jumping Pillow time. General gives one of each. Everything else on the twenty-plus attraction list is the same under both tickets.
It is the same farm under a new name. Paulus Orchards has rebranded as Mt Airy Orchards and the old web address now redirects to the new one, but old links and old signage still circulate. It is a different business from Paulus Farm Market in Mechanicsburg.
Mid-September, which is later than the season itself. The Fall Fun area opens on Labor Day weekend, so an early-September visit gets the attractions but not the pumpkins.
2026 dates had not been published when we last checked. In past seasons it has run: Saturdays and Sundays from Labor Day weekend through the first weekend of November, plus Labor Day and Columbus Day. Check with the farm before driving out.
