Grim’s is an orchard that runs a fall festival, not a fall festival that happens to have some trees. That distinction shows up everywhere in how the place is priced, and it explains the thing most visitors find confusing: there is no admission ticket.
Instead there are five packages. Premium Package 1A at $37.99 bundles the corn maze, the hayride, bounce pillows, the cattle train, goat snuggling, a flower jar, a picking bag and the play corral. Activity Package 2 is $21.99 and drops the picking. Picking Package 3 runs from $11.99 to $54.99 depending on how big a bag you want. Corn Maze Package 4 is a flat $12. Flower Package 5 is $11.99. Neither number is wrong. If your family will genuinely ride the hayride out to the patch, do the maze, spend an hour on the bounce pillows and the cattle train, snuggle goats, cut flowers and fill a picking bag, the premium package is a fair price for a long day and buying the pieces separately would cost more. Apples begin coming in from late summer and pumpkins arrive later, so what is actually pickable shifts week to week across a season that runs from September 5 to November 1. Five minutes on the phone tells you whether the fruit you drove for is on the trees.
