Rutland Farms is a market first and a fall attraction second, and its schedule shows it. The market runs Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm, the corn maze is open alongside it on weekdays, and the actual festival — hayrides, petting zoo, face painting, bounce house — is compressed into October Saturdays plus a closing day on Nov 1. The farm is closed Sundays, which is unusual enough to catch out anyone assuming a normal weekend operation.
On a weekday you pay for the maze. That has been $8, with under-2s free, and it buys you a large maze, a mini maze for small children, the pumpkin patch and the market. On a Saturday you pay $14 — $11 for seniors 65 and over — and get the full festival. Flashlight Nights and Halloween night have been $10.
The gap matters. A family of four doing a weekday maze walk is $32; the same family on a festival Saturday is $56 before pumpkins. If your children are old enough to enjoy a maze and too old to care about a bounce house, the weekday visit is the better buy by a wide margin, and it will be far quieter.
No source we could read states a 2026 season. The farm’s own page publishes a Sept 29 to Nov 6 pumpkin window but does not name the year; a separate directory gives Oct 1 to Nov 6. Both are consistent with the farm’s usual pattern, and neither is a 2026 commitment. There is also a straightforward factual conflict we could not settle: most descriptions call the corn maze 15 acres, and at least one calls it 5. That is a big difference in how long you will be walking, and it is the sort of thing worth asking on the phone if the maze is the whole reason for the trip.
Tifton sits in the coastal plain on I-75, and a late-September or early-October afternoon here is still hot with no shade in a corn maze. The back half of October is materially more comfortable. The Flashlight Nights on October Saturdays are the flip side — after sunset the temperature drops faster than the afternoon suggests, and a 10pm finish in late October wants a jacket, particularly for children who have been running.
The one small, genuinely good detail: parking is free. Several comparable Georgia farms charge for it, and on a $14 festival ticket a $5 parking fee is a meaningful percentage.
