Eighteen attractions for a ten-dollar armband is an unusual sentence to write. Most Georgia fall festivals with this attraction count land between $15 and $22 a head, so Springhill Farm’s Octoberfest is either the best value on our Georgia list or evidence that the individual attractions are simpler than the count implies. The honest answer is probably some of both, and at $10 the downside risk is small enough that it barely matters.
The list runs: corn maze, hayrides, a giant slide, a trike track, bounce houses, pig races, a kids’ train, a corn pool, mini golf, tire swings, cornhole, a potato cannon, axe throwing, pumpkin chunking, the pumpkin patch and a sunflower field. The mix is broader across ages than most patches manage. Axe throwing and a potato cannon are teen-and-adult attractions in a category that usually gives everyone over twelve nothing to do, and the pig races and corn pool cover the other end.
Two things sit outside the armband. Horse rides are $5 for kids and $10 for adults. Pumpkin painting and pumpkin chunking both require buying a pumpkin first — a small cost, but the one most likely to produce an argument at the counter when a child assumes it is included.
Decatur County is about as far south as Georgia goes. Bainbridge is closer to Tallahassee than to Albany, and the season opens on Sept 26, when afternoon temperatures here are still summer numbers. A corn maze and a sunflower field are both full-sun activities with no bail-out point in the middle. If you have any choice at all, take a mid-to-late-October weekend over a September one; the attraction list is identical and the experience is completely different.
The farm has not published its daytime hours, which is the practical problem with that advice — you cannot plan an early arrival against a start time you do not know. That single phone call is worth making.
The Haunted Corn Maze runs 8pm to 11pm on Oct 30 and 31 only, at $15 per person, and it is not the daytime maze with the lights off in spirit. If you want it, those two nights are the only chance, and they will be the busiest of the season. If you do not want it, note that the daytime armband and the haunted ticket are separate purchases, so a family can do the afternoon and leave before the tone changes.
One more piece of arithmetic worth doing before you drive: a family of four on daytime armbands is $40, plus a pumpkin or two, plus horse rides if the kids spot the horses. Call it $70 to $80 for a full afternoon. That is a genuinely cheap Saturday by 2026 agritourism standards, and it is the strongest argument for making the drive out Woodhull Road.
The caveat to all of this is that we are reading the farm’s own page rather than reporting from the field. The prices, the dates and the discounts are the farm’s published 2026 figures and they are unusually specific, which is a good sign. The hours are the one hole, and it is the hole that will cost you a wasted morning if you guess wrong.
Octoberfest runs weekends from Sept 26 through Nov 1, 2026, Saturdays and Sundays only. Bainbridge is 40 minutes from the Florida line, so the opening weekends are effectively summer — go in the second half of October if you have any flexibility, when the sunflower field and the corn maze are both survivable in the afternoon. The Haunted Corn Maze is Oct 30 and 31 only, 8pm to 11pm, and is a separate ticket.
Three to four hours to get value from an armband that covers this many attractions. If you are only going to do the maze and the pumpkin patch, you are paying for fifteen things you will not touch.
Six weekends of two days each, in a rural county whose regional pull covers Bainbridge, Thomasville and the north Florida line. Oct 30 and 31 are the peak by a wide margin because the haunted maze only runs then.
Not documented. Woodhull Road is rural and the farm is several miles out of town, so assume a field rather than a lot, and assume the last mile is the slow part on a Saturday afternoon.
You have toddlers and only a couple of hours. The armband is only 10 dollars, so the risk is low, but the attraction mix skews toward kids who can climb a giant slide and hold a trike handlebar. Also skip the Halloween weekend if anyone in your group is easily frightened — the haunted maze is running those nights.
