Two things make Waterdrinker’s Manorville site stand out on Long Island, and neither is an attraction. The first is that it opens seven days a week during the fall season, when almost every comparable farm in Suffolk County opens two. The second is that it charges one flat $20 regardless of which day you pick.
Put those together and you get an unusual outcome: the cheapest and quietest version of this farm is the same price as the busiest one. There is no weekday discount to chase because there is no weekend premium to escape. You simply go on a Tuesday, pay what everyone else pays, and have the jump pad to yourself.
A pumpkin field, sunflowers, a jumbo jump pad, mini golf, barnyard animals, lawn games, a wooden playland, tractor pedal cars, a corn maze, a haunted tulip tunnel and a tortoise enclosure. Hayrides are listed as weekends only, which is the one thing that pulls families back towards Saturday and Sunday.
Twelve items at $20 is reasonable value if you use them. It is not a bargain for a family who wants a pumpkin and a photograph — the pumpkins themselves are not the point of the ticket, and anyone over the age of two pays full price whether they set foot on the mini golf or not.
The most easily missed line in the schedule is that Friday and Saturday close “at sunset” rather than at a fixed time. That sounds generous, and in mid-September it is — the light holds well past six. By the last weekend of October, sunset on Long Island has moved forward by well over an hour, and a Saturday that felt like a long evening in September ends abruptly in late afternoon.
This is the standard northern trap and it catches people every year. Check the actual sunset time for your date rather than assuming the farm closes when it did last time you came.
The farm’s fall festival page published the price, the hours and the attraction list, but no opening or closing date. For a farm that is otherwise this forthcoming, that is a strange omission, and it matters at both ends of the season — an early-September visit and a November one are both plausible and neither is confirmed. There was no phone number on the page either, so the booking or contact route on the site is your only way to check.

Weekdays are the obvious play — same $20, a fraction of the Suffolk County weekend traffic. Note the two 'to sunset' closes, which quietly get earlier through the season: a Friday that runs past 6:30pm in late September is finishing before 6pm by the end of October. The farm had not published fall festival opening or closing dates when we checked.

Daily opening across the season spreads demand far better than the weekends-only norm on Long Island. October Saturdays are still the peak, and hayrides only run at weekends, which pushes families with young children into those two days.

Fink's Country Farm is also in Manorville and runs a similar attraction-heavy model, but weekends and holidays only. If your free day is a Tuesday, Waterdrinker is the one that will actually be open.
