Rough cost for a family of four: about $67.96 in admission alone at the posted starting rate, before pumpkins, food, parking or any add-on listed above. Most families end up well north of that once they are through the gate.
Two structural facts separate Hellerick’s from most of its Bucks County neighbours, and both are worth money. It is open daily rather than weekends only, and it stays open to November 15 rather than closing on Halloween. Between them, that turns a fall visit from a scheduling problem into an easy one.
The daily opening in particular changes the crowd maths. A farm running eight or ten weekend days has to absorb an entire county’s autumn demand into those days. A farm running sixty-plus days does not. You will still find an October Saturday busy, but the option to go on a Wednesday instead genuinely exists here, and the farm has priced that option deliberately.
$16.99 on a weekday, $19.99 at a weekend. For one adult that is loose change; for two adults and two children it is $67.96 against $79.96, a saving of twelve dollars for choosing a different day. Add the quieter site and the shorter queues and the weekday is straightforwardly the better product at the lower price, which is not a trade-off you often get to make.
The season pass sharpens this further. At $39.99 it is about two weekend admissions, or two and a third weekday ones. Given a season that stretches from mid-September to mid-November, a local family that goes once in early October and once in early November has already broken even. For anyone within twenty minutes of Doylestown, buying single tickets is close to a mistake.
There was also a pre-sale running at 15% off until September 10. That is a decision-forcing date rather than a discount you can drift into.
This is the thing most likely to spoil a visit. Hellerick’s sells one admission price, but the attractions behind it are not all open to everyone. The aerial adventure ropes course is 7 and up. The silo climbing wall is 5 and up. The goat experience is 4 and up. Goat yoga is 12 and up.
Work through what that means for a real family. A group with a nine-year-old and a four-year-old pays two children’s admissions and gets two very different farms: the older child can do essentially everything, the younger one is limited to the maze, the wagon ride, mini golf, pick-your-own and the obstacle course. That is still a reasonable afternoon, but it is not the farm the photographs are selling, and it is worth knowing before you are standing at the bottom of the ropes course explaining it.
Conversely, if your children are all seven or over, this is one of the better-value tickets in the region, because the expensive-to-run attractions — the ropes course, the climbing wall — are the ones they can actually use.
The 9:30pm close looks generous until you realise what it is for. Glow Golf runs 7:30pm to 9:30pm, and it is the reason the gates stay open. If you arrive at four, there is a stretch between the daytime attractions losing their appeal and Glow Golf starting that you will need to fill with food and sitting down.
Better to treat it as two possible visits. Either come in the morning or early afternoon and leave before dusk, or come late specifically for Glow Golf. Trying to do both in one stretch is a long day with a flat patch in the middle, particularly with younger children.
One seasonal note on that evening slot: the same 7:30pm start feels quite different across this long season. In mid-September it begins in the last of the light. By the first week of November it begins nearly two hours after sunset, in genuine cold. A November Glow Golf trip needs hats and proper coats, not fleeces.
The November 15 end date is a real asset. Frost will have finished the corn maze at plenty of Pennsylvania farms by then, and many will simply have shut. If your October disappeared into other commitments, Hellerick’s is one of the few places in the region where the fall trip is still available in the second week of November — just go in expecting a colder, barer version of it, and check by phone that the maze is still standing.
The Adventure Farm runs September 11 through November 15, 2026, daily, 10:00am to 9:30pm. A weekday is both cheaper ($16.99 against $19.99) and quieter, and a Tuesday in early October is the best-value version of this farm. If Glow Golf is the draw, it runs only in the last two hours, 7:30pm to 9:30pm, which means an evening visit is a fundamentally different trip from a daytime one. Note also how much daylight moves across this season: a 6:00pm arrival in mid-September is still afternoon, and the same arrival in early November is fully dark.
Three to four hours for a daytime visit that uses the maze, the wagon ride, mini golf and the physical attractions. Add two if you are staying through to Glow Golf, since the gap between the daytime attractions winding down and 7:30pm has to be filled with something.
Being open daily across nine weeks is the release valve here — the demand that other Bucks County farms compress into eight or ten weekend days is spread across roughly sixty-six operating days. Weekend afternoons in October are still the pinch point, and the weekday price gap gives you a financial reason to avoid them.

Doylestown itself is a short drive and has a walkable centre, which makes a weekday afternoon at the farm easy to pair with an early dinner in town rather than a second ticketed stop.
